White Rake – Clear Up

The Cavers walked up to White Rake, Eyam, an old dig of theirs inherited from the late John Beck. It was a number of years since their last visit, and it was their intention to clear it of detritus and metal constructions. A final visit was decided upon, after they arrived back at the hut dirty, wet and very cold, and lugging heavy sacks of metallic objects – including a pick axe! (Mike, Rob, McBain)
