Carlswark Cottage
Our hut in Stoney Middleton can be booked by clubs and groups looking for hut-styled accommodation in the Peak District.

Upstairs there are bunks for 12 people along with 2 washrooms. Downstairs is a living-dining area with everything required for self-catering. There is electric heating throughout and a coal/wood burning stove for extra warmth in the winter months.
The climbing and caving in Stoney is a 10 minute walk from the door and there is a good pub across the road.
All bookings are on an exclusive basis and for groups only. Sorry, no under 18s.

Parking

Please only park in the areas marked blue (see plan diagram). Try to keep as many cars as possible in the grass forecourt by the hut. Overflow parking is available against the wall in the area to the left of the entrance as you enter from the road.
Please don’t park anywhere else as it is required by the guests of the nearby cottages.
Public Transport
The ’65’ Stagecoach bus serves the Toll Bar bus stop approximately 200m from the hut.
If traveling by train to Sheffield (SHF), the ’65’ can be caught from the Sheffield Interchange.
If traveling by train to Grindleford (GRN), our nearest station, the ’65’ can be caught just outside The Maynard. Alternatively, itโs a pleasant ~5km walk along the Derwent Valley from Grindleford Station to the hut.
